		Kit Aid Monday, 3rd September 2007 Letter to London local newspapers Sir As we look forward to the start of the Rugby world cup, let us spare a thought for children in poorer countries who may be prevented from playing rugby by a lack of kit. I am working with the SOS Kit Aid charity that collects old unwanted kit to send to children in poorer countries such as Romania, Chile and African countries. Schools and clubs can organise a collection day once a year and it is estimated that for every 10 schools that participate, up to half a million pounds worth of kit could be collected that would otherwise have been thrown away ending up in landfill sites. If your school or club have any unused rugby kit that needs a good home or you know of a club in a poorer country that needs some equipment, please email me at syed@syedkamall.com and I will pass on your details to Kit Aid.
